Sibnath and Purnima are two teenagers brought together by a turmoil of destiny. Sibnath is an uneducated youth who comes to town in search of a job at his uncle’s (Rudranil) place. On his way he meets Purnima, who has been driven out of an orphanage due to a misunderstanding. Sibnath promises to earn money and help her appear in the exams. He takes her responsibility. But incidentally Sibnath is drawn into the company of a smuggling gang which results into a misunderstanding between him and Purnima. He is heart broken because at one point, because Purnima leaves him when he fails to shun the company he is keeping. More over he is put into the wanted list by the Police as a murder suspect.
The rest of the film revolves around the fate of their tragic love…
The movie is released at Aruna, Bharati, Darpana, Mahua and Elora Cinema Halls in Calcutta.
